In a recent turn of events at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), the General Secretary of the Students’ Union Government (SUG), Comrade Yusuph Sholagbade has issued a strong rebuttal to his suspension by the Senate House. The suspension, which was publicly announced during the 5th and the 6th Business Meeting of the Parliamentary arm due to allegations of inactivity, specifically the failure to attend to key meetings.

However, the General Secretary’s formal response, addressed to the Senate President of the Senate House, raises several serious concerns that go beyond the immediate issue of attendance.

He stated that he has being consistently excluded from decision-making processes and accused various members of forging his signature on important documents.
