His extraordinary feat, which lasted an astonishing 106 hours, 55 minutes, and 20 seconds, was officially recognized by the Guinness World Records, solidifying his place among the world’s elite achievers.
The marathon, which took place from January 22 to January 26, 2024, in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria, was not just a test of physical and mental endurance but also a powerful showcase of craftsmanship and dedication to the art of sewing. In a remarkable twist to his challenge, Kuforiji relied solely on a needle and thread, a testament to his mastery of traditional sewing techniques. Within the first six hours, he successfully crafted a complete Agbada outfit, setting the tone for the rest of the challenge.
