The Federal Government has presented each member of the Super Falcons squad with the keys to a three-bedroom apartment, fulfilling another promised reward ahead of the team's opening match at the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Federal Government has formally fulfilled another major promise to Nigeria's Super Falcons, presenting each member of the squad with the keys to a three-bedroom apartment ahead of the team's opening match at the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The symbolic presentation, conducted on Tuesday in Rabat by officials of the National Sports Commission and the Nigeria Football Federation, comes after the players had already received the $100,000 cash reward announced by President Bola Tinubu following Nigeria's triumph at the 2025 WAFCON.
Confirming the development, the Nigeria Football Federation disclosed that NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko and NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi handed over the housing allocation to the players before they began the defence of their continental crown.
The housing reward forms part of the Federal Government's incentive package, which also includes national honours and similar benefits for members of the team's technical crew.
