There is still no final agreement between Real Madrid and RB Leipzig over the proposed transfer of Yan Diomande, with all parties involved confirming that negotiations remain ongoing.

According to Florian Plettenberg, unless something extraordinary happens before midnight, talks between the two clubs will resume tomorrow morning as they continue working through the details of a deal.

RB Leipzig are reportedly demanding at least 120 million euros for the player, with a very high guaranteed portion of that fee built into the structure. The German club is understood to be firm on securing the bulk of that amount upfront rather than tying too much of it to performance-related add-ons.

The main sticking point in the latest round of talks centred on Real Madrid's proposed bonus structure, which has been described as complex and difficult to achieve. That gap between a largely guaranteed fee and a heavily conditional one appears to be the primary obstacle still standing between the two clubs.

Despite the delay, the deal is understood to still be on, with both sides expected to pick negotiations back up in the morning in search of a structure that works for everyone involved.
