In a momentous achievement, Pwajok Jane Kangyang has been elected as the President of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) at the University of Jos (UniJos). Her victory has sparked widespread celebrations across the campus, marking a significant milestone in student leadership at the university.

Her message resonated deeply with the student body, which rallied behind her vision for a more inclusive and student-centered university experience.
In a heartfelt letter to the Josites community following her win, Kangyang expressed her gratitude and determination:
“Your voices were loud, your actions impactful, and your belief in this vision un-shakable. The journey was not without its challenges, but your motivation kept me strong. Even when the path seemed uncertain, your encouragement fueled my determination to press forward. To every student who believed in this vision, voted, and stood firm, I am profoundly grateful for the solidarity, faith, and passion you showed.”
