In a major win for students, Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has officially joined the list of beneficiaries of the OPay 10-Year Scholarship Initiative, making it the 9th Nigerian university to be included in the groundbreaking education support program.
The partnership, announced this week, is part of OPay’s ₦1.2 billion commitment to supporting higher education in Nigeria over a decade-long span. The initiative aims to provide scholarships to deserving students from low-income backgrounds, helping them access quality education without the financial burden.
