Even now, I still ponder them with awe. Realistically, most biblical miracles sound unbelievable. Raising Lazarus from the dead? Parting the Red Sea? Turning water into wine? Multiplying loaves of bread and fish to feed multitudes? Sounds like fiction! Yet, we worship and respect the invisible God. Why? Because His wonders are evident in our lives. “He dey always show workings.”

Here’s the thing: the way God works is a mystery. Who He is and where His power comes from will remain a mystery. Christians aren’t comic figures, so why mock those who believe in miracles? The Chosen members are part of us. Mocking them is like mocking our faith. The irony is that believers are the ones championing the #Iamachosen trend, but they won’t keep the same energy when it comes to their celebrity pastors’ churches. We all know what we’re doing. Double standards, anyone?
