Meet FunnyToheeb, whose real name is Toheeb Adedokun, a 200level student of Tai Solarin University of Education from the department of Creative Art.

He is a 21-years old comedian, actor, MC, host and creative.

His creative recreation of celebrity photos are probably the most hilarious collages you will see in recent times, which have given him a wave in the entertainment industry and get him listed as one of Nigeria Instagram Influence.

He’s amassed almost 150,000 followers on Instagram and he is also known as Nylon Boy, Toheeb who describes his comic style as “Celebrity Outfit in Cheap Version,” shares hilarious collages of himself recreating celebrity photos.

Some of the comedian’s rib cracking remakes include photos of: Toke Makinwa, Tiwa Savage, Davido, Wizkid, Laura Ikeji, Yemi Alade and American rapper Cardi B.

In one of his interview, he disclosed how he got inspired and begin his act of art comedy.

In his word he said “It all began when I saw a picture of Wizkid wearing a D&G face mask online. I took a selfie of the same pose while with a nylon on my face.”
I was only playing around when I did that. Surprisingly, the picture went viral to the extent that Wizkid posted it on his Insta-story.”

There is never a fame without some doubts or challenges that surrounded it, to him was sometimes when his father complained about some of his pictures trending online but his mother give him 100% backup.

In his word he said” My dad complains whenever he sees images of my work where I am almost naked. My mom on the other hand supports me 100% percent and my friends are cool with it.”

In the same interview with humourandstyle, he was asked aside from monetary gain, what other benefits have he gotten from his brand, which at that time he said nothing big yet, but he believe that the best is yet to come.

funnytoheeb was recently featured by BBC Africa in an interview session which is yet to be published.
