Former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has commended incumbent Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his commitment to continuity in governance, after commissioning another public facility delivered by the current administration.
Former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has described it as an honour to commission another important public facility delivered by the Biodun Oyebanji administration, describing it as part of the current government's commitment to strengthening public infrastructure in the state.
Fayemi commended Governor Oyebanji for his belief in continuity, noting that the governor recognises governance as a relay in which every administration builds on the work of its predecessors. He described that spirit of institutional continuity as essential to sustaining progress and strengthening public confidence in government.
He went on to thank the governor for the honour of being invited to perform the commissioning, adding that he hopes the facility will continue to serve the government and people of Ekiti State for many years to come.
The commissioning adds to a growing list of public infrastructure projects delivered under the current administration, with Fayemi's remarks pointing to a broader theme of successive governments in Ekiti State building on, rather than abandoning, the work of those who came before them.
