The dedication reception for baby Eliana Adeife Atere, daughter of Veekee James and Femi Atere, turned into one of the most talked-about style moments of the week, as guests fully embraced the event's #ElianasFruitGarden dress code.
After a church service where the couple appeared in coordinated all-white outfits for the dedication itself, the reception told an entirely different visual story. Guests arrived in a burst of colour, with chartreuse yellow, burnt orange, and sunshine tones dominating the room, alongside statement fascinators that turned nearly every look into a mini spectacle.
Fascinators Took Centre Stage
Rather than the usual understated headpieces, many guests opted for bold, sculptural fascinators built from feathers, leaves, and florals, each one designed to tie directly into the fruit garden theme.
Hawa Magaji arrived in a flowing chartreuse chiffon gown with an embellished corset, finished off with an oversized green floral headpiece that matched her dress. Tomike Adeoye leaned into warm autumn tones with a fitted, sequin-detailed burnt orange dress, a coordinating leaf-and-feather fascinator, and a small Jacquemus bag in the same shade. Kiky Festus brought the brightness up several notches in a ruched sunshine yellow mini dress, paired with a towering hot pink feather fascinator and matching heels.
