In a surprising development, the Acting President of the Student Union of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), along with six other key members of the Student Union Executive Council, has been suspended until further notice. The decision was announced during the 5th and 6th business meetings of the Student Union Parliament, held recently to address concerns about leadership inactivity within the Union.
The following executives have been suspended:
- Acting President
- Welfare Director
- General Secretary
- Sport Director
- Financial Secretary
- Treasurer
- Public Relations Officer
- Social Director
Suspension Due to Leadership Inactivity
According to reports, the suspension was enforced after it was observed that the aforementioned executives had shown a significant lack of activity in fulfilling their roles as leaders of the TASUED Student Union. The inactivity raised concerns among members of the Parliament, leading to a vote for suspension in order to ensure proper leadership and accountability within the student body.

Disciplinary Action Pending
The suspended executives are now required to appear before an in-house disciplinary committee to explain the reasons for their inactivity. The committee will evaluate the defenses put forward by the executives and determine whether their suspension should be lifted or if further action, including impeachment, will be taken.
