We often meet new people on campus, forming connections and friendships, never imagining that someone who seems harmless could become a threat. This story is a raw, heartbreaking account of a student who faced a nightmare in her own space-a reminder of how quickly trust can turn into betrayal.
It all started when this guy stopped me on campus, introducing himself as my course mate. According to him, he was seeing me for the first time, and it was the same for me. He asked for my contact, and I didn’t make a big deal out of it-after all, I run a small business online.
We started talking, and soon enough, he asked me out. I told him I wasn’t interested and that I didn’t want to date a course mate. Besides, even though he was cute and fair, I told him I preferred dark guys. I thought he would take the hint, but things took a different turn.
On his birthday, he insisted on buying food to celebrate, and he bought for himself too. The food was packed together, so he suggested following me to my house to collect his share. I didn’t think much of it then, but letting him know my place was the biggest mistake of my life.
